We celebrated our wedding in September at the Deutsches Weintor. The location is beautiful and the food is delicious. What I have to emphasize about the master, however, is the excellent service. We felt completely at ease and were able to enjoy the day to the full.

Extremely nice staff, you sit very nicely on a great terrace with a fantastic view. Unfortunately, the apple pie consisted of mostly dry dough and you had to look for the apples with a magnifying glass. Too bad.

Very nice beer garden. Great view! That’s it! Unfortunately the asparagus cream soup was completely wrong. Residual recycling, with a high proportion of wood! The rest of the food was so ok. On my advice, no response from the waitress. Therefore I cannot recommend the food, especially since it is not really cheap.

It is your own fault if you are in the Palatinate and do not go to the wine gate. Here is an incredibly beautiful destination with great architecture and beautiful scenery. The location is also recommended, you just have a great view. France is only a stone's throw away, unfortunately CoVid-19 has thwarted the border crossing. Gladly and hopefully again ...

The best place in the world

The restaurant is well maintained and the staff friendly and attentive. Since the Weintor many bus tours lead this restaurant is designed mainly for larger companies. Nevertheless, everything is very professional and the service very fast. The main thing, the food, is not too short and tastes very good.

What a nice place to visit. The German Weintor is near the France border. It has a great view in the large wine fields nearby. There are a lot of places to sit outside what is great if it’s sunny! The Deutsche Weintor is also easy to reach with public transportation. The bus is stopping in front of it.
